sketch of the day

I've recently started doing timed sketches (10-15 minutes) of random people and things. Kind of like an exercise y'know?

today's sketch is of a dear friend that I've known since 4th grade (fact check dept, double check that, please). 15 minute sketch of "the long haired girl from across the room"!!

#webpeeps - SMACK!!

so...drew the homie @shizukasmack....mostly b/c of the dope ass iridescent hat...if you haven’t already, you should definitely get a copy of his Red Series

Happy Birthday Stevie Wonder!

Born Stevland Hardaway Judkins; May 13, 1950, another icon in soul music. But, some of them are "Do I Do", "That Girl", "Ribbon In The Sky" and "As". I could give you a playlist of many other favorites, but this post would take forever to read through

Sketch of the Day: Nas

quick sketch of Mr. Nasir Jones.

25 minutes (PS6)

The G.O.A.T.

Jim Brown. One of my favorite players, and in my opinion, the best running back the NFL has seen. He set the standard, and never once backed down from tacklers or speaking his mind!

I know Ms. Georgia!

A drawing of Ms. Georgia of the American Beauty Plus Pageant!! Yeah, I know celebrities now!! She's an awesome friend of mine for over 10 years now.

Follow her on her Facebook page to keep up with her whereabouts!!

Prince..

Prince Rogers Nelson (June 7, 1958 - April 21, 2016)......musical genius. I could go on and on about his music. How I just knew "Adore" was going to be me and my wife's First song, or how much I grooved when the drums to "Alphabet Street" came in.

The amount of music he didn't release is what always intrigued me. Or the version of a song he reduced down that didn't make the album. The man's music was all through my early years. How Rasberry Beret comes on and still makes me crack a smile because that was, for whatever reason, the song that was forever linked in my mind to the 'girl with the long hair' in elementary school. How he did the ENTIRE Batman soundtrack, and how hard BatDance went...not to mention the music video....

Rest In Purple, Prince

work in progress, G.O.A.T.
